BIOGRAPHY

Born in Northern Italy, Paola Bossola embarked on a journey to the United States driven by her passion for storytelling. Her academic pursuits led her to delve into English, journalism, mass communications, and television broadcasting management at the University of Miami and Florida International University.

Paola's early career as a film producer in Miami set the stage for her transition to Los Angeles, where she refined her skills in independent films, studio productions, and photoshoots.

 

However, it was in New York City that she discovered her affinity for documentary filmmaking, delving into pressing global issues ranging from factory farming practices to climate change and media violence's societal impact.

Her dedication to meaningful content eventually led her to join the esteemed team at the long-standing children’s program, “Sesame Street,” where she contributed to outreach programs and season specials.

Paola's tenure at Oliver Agency marked a significant chapter in her career, where she spearheaded the development of Unilever’s in-house agency's production department across offices in New York, New Jersey, and London. Her role extended to guiding teams across various global markets within the Unilever network, focusing on initiatives such as “unstereotyping” advertising in collaboration with the Unstereotype Alliance, under the auspices of UN Women.

Transitioning to Media.Monks, Paola assumed a pivotal role in establishing central production operations for BMW and MINI. Her expertise in campaign processes and team management streamlined workflows and enhanced efficiency across global and 29+ markets' operations.

Driven by a vision to transcend conventional production structures, Paola is dedicated to collaborating with EMEA teams to innovate content creation models. In an era marked by rapid technological evolution, she emphasizes the critical role of producers in achieving creative and logistical efficiency.

Now, Paola is part of the world-renowned streaming giant Netflix, where she oversees creative operations for the EMEA region.

Committed to breaking free from traditional production structures, Paola continues to assist organizations in constructing and delivering innovative content models on both regional and global scales.
